Kestrel 8.5MM X50M comes in two colours.

Robust slightly larger than the Merlin for the more traditional style of climbing with own gear placements as practised in the UK.  A fine sheath coupled with our BS treatment gives you optimum wear characteristics on rough gritstone, limestone or granite. In short a rope designed to take some welly but also good in traditional multi pitch climbing situations.

Beta Shield

Depending on the usage not all ropes need a DRY treatment whereas abrasion protection is important to all performance ropes. BETA Shield provides a high quality yarn protection coating helping to keep dirt and other harmful substances off the rope yarns at the same time giving the rope a resilient protection against rough surfaces.
