Nikwax Rope Proof Waterproofing

Nikwax wash in waterproofer for ropes and other climbing soft goods.

The waterproofer is a ideal solution to allready dry treated ropes becoming sodden with water due to use. As you use a dry treated rope it slowly loses its dry treatment, rope proof will bring back some of the performance that has been lost through use. It can also be used on non dry ropes as a waterproofer but it will not be quite as good as a new dry treated rope, this is because a dry treated rope normally has the treatment put onto individual core strands before it is made into a rope so it has a full dry treatment throughout.

This is also for use on slings, harnesses or any other soft goods that you climb with which makes this a great product with many uses.
